Argentina

We have often described Argentina as a little bit of Spain with some Italy and Germany sprinkled in, but with better weather and some of the best food and wine in our hemisphere.  The poeple are elegant and sooner or later you have to try one of those glorious steaks with a good bottle of local Malbec.  Fantastic!

The golf clubs are quite impressive; some with spectacular clubhouses and polo clubs attached (such as The Jockey Club pictured below), and produce some world-class players on the PGA Tour.  From Patagonia up to Buenos Aires, each area has several good courses to choose from, and many feature the 125 year old tradition of golf in Argentina.

But perhaps the best thing about visiting Argentina is this is one of those places where the US Dollar is still strong! It is not uncommon to spend a week or 10 days and visit Buenos Aires, Patagonia, Mar del Plata or the wine area of Mendoza for about half the price of a European golf vacation.  

We assure you that a nice golf package to Argentina is about the best value on the planet, and the seasons in the southern hemisphere are reversed.  So when it's cold and wet in North American, visit Argentina in January or February for some warm golf and beach weather!

Saturday Feb 25th (depart North America on an overnight flight)

Sunday Feb 26th - Arrival - Arrival to EZE Intl Airport in Buenos Aires. Check-in at hotels. 7:00pm we’ll have an outdoor welcome cocktail party in Recoleta, the fashionable downtown café area (venue TBD). Introduction of the players, review of the schedule, categories, rules, handicaps, tee-times, etc.  Free evening at leisure.

Monday Feb 27th - First golf round at Golf Club Argentino (caddies). Free evening at leisure.

Tuesday Feb 28th - Second golf round at Lagartos GC (caddies) or Nordelta GC (carts).  Free evening at leisure.

Wednesday Feb 29th - Free day at leisure.  We can arrange optional rounds of golf or perhaps you might want to just enjoy a free day in the city for shopping and sightseeing. 

Thursday March 1st - Third round at Olivos Golf Club (caddies). Free evening at leisure.

Friday March 2nd - Final Round at Pilar Golf Club (caddies or GPS carts). Farewell dinner with Prize-Giving ceremony.

Saturday March 3rd - Check-out by 12:00 pm for departures for most overnight flights.  Daytime activities can be arranged for extra cost. Late checkout may be arranged based on availability. 

Sunday March 4th – arrivals in USA for most overnight flights.
