TURNBERRY - One of Scotland's finest, the majestic Luxury Collection Turnberry Resort offers a very refined setting and distinct amenities, with Scotland's best spa and two world-class golf courses, including the British Open tested Ailsa Course. The restaurants are outstanding and the views from the hotel over the golf course and ocean, while the bagpipes play, will remain etched in your mind forever. WWG Rating: A+

 

OLD COURSE HOTEL - Along the 17th hole of the Old Course lies the most modern and comfortable hotel in St. Andrews proper, called The Old Course Hotel.  Half of the rooms face the Old Course (often sell out a year in advance), and the other half face the Eden side and practice area.  On the 4th floor is The Road Hole Restaurant, where you can have dinner with a lovely view of the course. There is also a nice lounge on the 4th floor (Road Hole Bar), with one of the world's finest golf views, and a fine collection of Single Malt Whisky.  Also on the ground floor is Sands Restaurant, a more casual eatery with “haute cuisine” and many people prefer the experience.  The hotel also boasts a beautiful spa, where a  massage and sauna can cure the aches of the golf course. $4975 per golfer double occupancy, or $3480 per non golfer double occupancy.  Add $1755 single occupancy. Package is only available through Wide World of Golf or your Travel Professional, and can be combined with any of our other UK or Ireland golf destinations for a truly memorable vacation.
