OverviewGolf is probably not what first comes to mind when you consider Chile, but like neighboring Argentina, golf has been played here for well over 100 years and there are more than 50 courses to choose from. Around Santiago are several high end private clubs which allow visitors (if properly introduced by Wide World of Golf) and out west in Valpariso are several courses nearby the sea. When you combine the interesting culture, pleasant people, outstanding wines along with some nice golf, Chile is a good option for those who are collecting golf bucket list destinations!
