Overview
Golf in South America is heating up as the Olympics in 2016 will feature golf for the first time in many years, and Brazil is purpose building spectacular facilities to host the summer games! However, there are lots of nice courses in Brazil, like Terra Vista or the old, tradional Gavea GC in Rio along Impanema Beach. Argentina, however, has for long been the champion of South America golf with Major Championship winners (Roberto DeVicenzo and Angel Cabrera) and top clubs like Buenos Aires GC, Olivos, Hurlingham, and the new great club in Patagonia named Chapelco GC, truly one of hte worlds most beautiful, and designed by Jack Nicklaus.
