Ask anyone who has been there, and Sydney is one of those cities that people always say "I could move there tomorrow". It has an amazing collection of attributes that a destination requires to be considered great: climate, beaches, food, wine, activites, nice people, and of course, great golf courses.  

We suggest staying in a downtown hotel where you can walk or short taxi ride to all the great visitor attractions including The Sydney Opera House, The Rocks (restaurant and entertaiment district), Darling Harbour, and The Harbour Bridge.  Those who are not afraid of heights can even book a Harbour Bridge walk-climb for some amazing views across famous Sydney Harbour. 

A day trip to Bondi or Manley beaches are fun (take a ferry?) as is a day trip to the scenic Blue Mountains or wine country in The Hunter Valley (play at The Vintage or Cypress Lakes clubs).

Sydney Golf Courses

New South Wales GC heads the list of superb Sydney golf courses and similar to Alister Mackenzie's other great seaside course, Cypress Point Club in California, it features spectacular ocean vistas, devilish bunkering and strategic green complexes.  There are many holes which you might consider to be the "signature holes", so many in fact you can't narrow it down.  By all means, when in Sydney do what it takes to make NSW GC part of your Wide World of Golf itinerary!
